For this project I decided to challenge myself and create a complete environment from scratch utilizing the photogrammetry skills I developed from my thesis at Planet X. The environment is created with a combination of photogrammetry scans that I made from old and new pictures that I took around the forest in Deventer. Additionally I created some 3D models such as candles, bowls, incense, and the shrine to further polish the scene.
For this project I decided to explored more technical aspects of Unreal engine with shaders RVT and niagara particle system. for the next project I have plans to explore character animation, and more shaders.
The duration of this project was 5 weeks.

Real-time fly through of the scene. The scene is capped at 24 frames for cinematic feeling but the scene runs stable on 80-85 FPS
The ground textures were taken from various spots in forest Deventer with a colour checker on a Canon 90D with a 50mm prime lens and polarization filter to remove unwanted reflections. the pictures were then cleaned up in lightroom and then scanned with M
